At the Primary Healthcare Foundation (PHCF), our priority is to strengthen healthcare for deprived rural populations by addressing the core challenges of awareness, availability, accessibility, and affordability. With initiatives like Mobile Medical Clinics and the upgradation of Primary Health Centres we aim to bring quality healthcare and related services closer to where people live, work, and study. As a not-for-profit organisation, we believe in community-driven, collaborative, and sustainable solutions that can adapt to emerging needs from preventive health and education to innovative programs that improve the well-being of rural communities.

PHCF is a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) focused on strengthening India’s primary healthcare system by developing and supporting healthcare centres in rural and underserved areas.

PHCF emphasizes: Quality and accountability Transparency and trust Innovation and improvisation Democratized learning and healthcare sharing

The mission includes: Mapping and addressing local burden of disease (LBD) region-wise. Promoting equitable and rehabilitative healthcare including palliative and geriatric care. Collaborating with local health authorities and stakeholders. Enhancing awareness about the economic value of healthy living. Addressing mental health issues and their economic impact.

PHCF works with stakeholders to design outreach programs for preventing and addressing mental health challenges, reducing GDP loss due to mental illnesses and suicidal tendencies.

PHCF studies how WaSH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) affects local disease burden and works on mitigating those impacts through health programs and policy input.
